MARSHALL FAMILY DENTISTS IS NOW YALE AVENUE DENTISTRY
My father, Ted L Marshall, opened his dental practice in 1977. I had the pleasure of working with him for 12 years before we bought Marshall Family Dentistry from him when he retired.
Patients were constantly telling me how trustworthy he was, and how comfortable he made them feel. It’s something I’ve tried to emulate and grow upon in the last few years, and hopefully something you’ll always feel whenever you visit.
Our new name, Yale Avenue Dentistry, honors our second-generation ties to dentistry in Tulsa. We’ve been here for along time, and hope to be here for an even longer time!

We’re also going to look at the big picture of your oral health, with a gentle and integrated approach to wellness.
(But y’all... cleaning your teeth is still very important, and no judgment, but we can tell when you’re only flossing right before your biannual appointment.)
We take your care seriously, but we like to have a little fun with everything else. Case in point: the runner-up for our new name was “T-Town Tooth Fixer,” and we’ve been known to go a little wild with the office decorations now and then.

Meet the Team
We’re a close-knit crew that believes dental care is about so much more than teeth. Here’s a little peek at the people who’ll make you feel right at home when you walk through our doors.
Dr. Molly Hays
Co-Owner & Dentist
For Dr. Molly, dentistry is about connection and care—not just teeth. She loves helping people overcome fear, transform their smiles, and feel at home in their health. Molly and her husband Thad took over the practice from her father in 2018, carrying forward a family legacy while building a team that feels like family, too.
Dr. Molly got her undergraduate degree from the University of Arkansas in 2006 where she then went on to get her doctorate degree from The University of Oklahoma College of Dentistry where she graduated in 2010. She also completed a one year residency at OU in Advanced Education in General Dentistry. She has been diligent about completing higher level continuing education and will soon have completed the requirements to become a Kois Center Alumni.
Outside the office, you’ll find her soaking up time with Thad and their kids, planning her next adventure, or enjoying the simple moments that make life meaningful.
Thad Hays
Co-Owner & Business Manager
Thad keeps the practice running smoothly behind the scenes, making sure everything works—from the business systems to the air conditioning to the team’s technology. After a successful career managing QuikTrip stores, he joined Molly in 2018 to help grow the family practice into what it is today. Thad is known for his steady leadership, love of systems and data, and his warm sense of humor. Outside the office, he’s usually cheering on his kids at sporting events, sneaking in time for video games, or treating himself to his ultimate favorite: ice cream.
Kelsey
Dental Assistant
Kelsey became a dental assistant thanks to the encouragement of her sister-in-law—and she’s been hooked ever since. Known for her attention to detail, she keeps the back office running smoothly, from managing supplies to solving problems when things break. Kelsey loves helping patients feel comfortable and confident throughout their visits. Outside the office, you’ll find her hiking, traveling, or dreaming up her next bucket list adventure. And if you want to make her day? Offer her pizza or pickles—two of her all-time favorites!
Kimberly
Dental Hygienist
Kimberly’s passion for dentistry started back in high school, where she explored dental assisting and quickly set her sights on becoming a dental hygienist. She loves connecting with patients, helping them improve their periodontal health, and celebrating their progress along the way. Known around the office for her reliability (she’s the one who always remembers to turn on the suction and water each day!), Kimberly brings care and consistency to everything she does. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling with her sister, spending time with her two adult kids and her grandson, Ryder—who calls her Gigi—and dreaming about a future cruise through Europe. She’s also a big fan of chocolate chip cookies and Greek food.
Irene
Front Office Manager
After 18 years as a manager at Eddie Bauer, Irene made a big leap into dentistry—despite having no experience beyond getting her own teeth cleaned. It turned out to be a perfect fit. As front office manager, she brings warmth, creativity, and genuine care to every patient interaction, always aiming to make sure everyone leaves the office happy. Known for her incredible seasonal decorating skills, Irene transforms the office into a celebration of every holiday and season. Outside of work, she loves baking, crafting, reading, and spending time with her family and her beloved Weimaraner. Fun fact: as a child living overseas, Irene once misunderstood a Halloween lesson, ended up wearing a carved pumpkin on her head, and rode to school on the back of a motorcycle—an unforgettable memory that still makes her smile.
Tuesdey
Dental Assistant
Tuesday always knew she wanted to work in the medical field to help people, and when a friend suggested dentistry, she decided to give it a try—seven years later, she’s never looked back. She loves helping patients overcome dental anxiety, watching their confidence grow, and working alongside a team she genuinely enjoys. Known around the office for her calm, steady presence, Tuesday brings a sense of ease to every appointment. Outside of work, she and her husband love spending time on their nine acres with their two German shepherds, Daisy and Goose, their cats, Miley and Stevie, and their chickens. Fun fact: Tuesday was named after the Lynyrd Skynyrd song “Tuesday’s Gone,” is proudly left-handed, and dreams of someday adding a donkey to their lively little farm.
Gwen
Dental HygienistDentist
Gwen always enjoyed going to the dentist as a child and knew early on she wanted to work in healthcare. During her senior year of high school, she worked for two dentists, which sparked her passion for becoming a dental hygienist. Gwen loves helping patients feel comfortable and creating positive, reassuring experiences at every visit. Known for her caring nature and gentle touch, she makes sure each patient feels truly cared for. Outside the office, Gwen enjoys spending time outdoors, gardening, and being with family. Her favorite meal? Grilled chicken or white fish with vegetables. One day, she dreams of living near a beautiful lake with a peaceful water view.
Bruno
Therapy Dog & Chief Comfort Officer
Bruno was adopted into the practice with one big mission: to bring smiles to the team and patients every single day. Known for sniffing shoes, soaking up pets and treats, and sneaking in plenty of naps, Bruno is the heart and soul of the office. When he’s not on duty, you’ll find him playing tug-of-war, barking at the TV, or running laps around the yard to keep his family safe. Fun fact: people love his unique markings, he’s a famously picky eater, and when he’s sleeping, he looks just like a stuffed animal—just don’t offer him anything pumpkin spice!
